We have been lucky at EVOLVE to have Bob’s mentorship on a large and complex participatory planning and research program for the Australian Government Department of Social Services.
Bob has written extensively on action learning and research, has presented on this topic at numerous seminars and workshops and maintains one of the leading action research websites in the world. He offers an online email-based course in action learning and evaluation.
Bob is a former series editor of Action Research Cases Studies and associate editor for the ALAR journal (official journal of the Action Research, Action Learning and Process Management Association).
Bob’s project experience is extensive. His approach is to emphasise robust techniques that can be used participatively, and can be learned and used subsequently by participants. Bob has a BA and M.A in Psychology (1st class Hons).
