About the Session:

2025 marks 50 years of NAIDOC Week, celebrating the rich culture, strength, and resilience of Indigenous peoples. This year’s theme, “The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy”, honours the wisdom of our Elders and the enduring legacy of our Ancestors, while looking forward to the future, empowered by the strength of young leaders and the vision of our communities.

At Evolve Communities, we’ve curated a very special NAIDOC Week yarning webinar guided by Aunty Munya Andrews, Aboriginal Elder, featuring the voices of our First Nations team members and what the theme means to them.

What You’ll Walk Away With:

A deeper understanding of “The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy”, this years NAIDOC week theme..

Insights into Dreamtime, Ancestors, Songlines, and Country, and why these elements are key to understanding how we move forward together as Allies.

First-hand stories from our First Nations team members about their connections to Country and the importance of respecting Elders and their legacy.

Practical tools and knowledge for Allyship: As non-Indigenous Allies, we are tasked with understanding and respecting Indigenous culture, and this session will provide the steps we need to move forward in Reconciliation.
