Online and In-Person Cultural Awareness Training
When it comes to cultural awareness training, there isn’t necessarily a one-size-fits-all solution. That’s why we offer different options to suit any team’s size or style, and let you choose the best fit.
The great thing is that regardless of the format, duration, or delivery method, the content and its benefits remain the same – it’s just a matter of how deep you wish to go.
The ‘7 Steps’ (for short) is our tried-and tested training framework that takes teams like yours through the seven key components of promoting Reconciliation and allyship, and offers them a new and inspiring perspective to absorb.
It’s simple, engaging and interactive – and delivers practical skills to help your team engage Indigenous communities with confidence and nuance.
Every team is different, so we encourage you to think about what would best work for you and your staff, it could be one of or all of the following:
- The 7 Steps On Demand – An engaging 45-minute primer on the Seven Steps to Practical Reconciliation™
- The 7 Steps Facilitator Led Yarning Circles – Delve deeper, either online or in-person through highly experiential facilitator led workshops (max 20 people)
- Yarning Workshop/Webinar – Explore relevant topics with live facilitator led sessions for up to 500 people
The training might be complete, but the learning has just begun. We’ll follow up with comprehensive resources, and invite your team to become part of the Evolve Community. We’ll continue the conversation with ongoing mentoring, coaching and dialogue. Participants will also be invited to join our Remote Reconciliation group, a forum for tips, Q&As and online support.
We’ll provide you with the hard data you need to demonstrate the impact and results of the training to key stakeholders. This includes a pre-program assessment of cultural competency and post-program evaluation – all in an easy-to-read, digestible format.
